The Rain Parade is a band that emerged in the Paisley Underground scene in the early eighties, made up of an alliance of groups from the East Coast looking for inspiration in the psychedelic era of the seventies, in mystical pop and psychedelic sounds from the previous generation. This was reflected in their debut album released in 1983, Emergency Third Rail Power Trip, which featured listless tempos and impressionistic lyrics.
