In the ninth edition of the prestigious Iberian Festival Awards, Azkena Rock Festival has been recognized with the award for Best Communication and Marketing Strategy.

The Iberian Festival Awards celebrated its ninth edition this weekend at the Pavilhão Multiusos 25 de Abril, in Almancil, in a gala in which the jury and the votes of the public rewarded the contributions and achievements of the festivals held between January and December 2024 in the Iberian Peninsula.
In total, four awards were collected by Last Tour and its festivals.
The award for Best Marketing and Communication Strategy at the Iberian Festival Awards is a great recognition for Azkena Rock Festival, as it confirms the work and effort of the professional team that works every year to attract thousands of fans to the mecca of rock. The festival launched during 2024 “El Podcast del Azkena”, a space to explore the 23 years of history of the rock and roll festival par excellence, with anecdotes of the festival told for the first time and special guests.
Azkena Rock Festival will celebrate its eighteenth edition on June 19, 21 and 21, 2025, with an exceptional line-up: John Fogerty, Dinosaur Jr, Manic Street Preachers, The Flaming Lips and Lucinda Williams, among other big names. Tickets are already on sale.
