Arriving from the future with their identities hidden behind welding masks, The Cyborgs have been proving since 2009 that blues can sound like science fiction. The Italian duo twist the genre’s roots into an explosive strain of power-boogie fuelled by blues, rock, funk and punk attitude, creating a live racket that seems almost impossible for just two humanoids. Having shared stages with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck and John Mayall, they reactivated their circuits with new music in 2026. At Azkena Rock Festival, they’ll unleash their own vision of blues from the future: primitive, frantic and engineered to get every last human in Mendizabala dancing.
