Formed in Southern California in 1979, Social Distortion emerged from the trenches of West Coast punk, evolving from a fast, raw sound into a more complex identity where punk met classic rock & roll, country and blues. Over four decades, they’ve forged one of the most recognisable and respected blends in the genre, led by the unmistakable Mike Ness, whose autobiographical lyrics deal with redemption, loss, addiction and passion. In Vitoria-Gasteiz, we’ll welcome them back with open arms, five years after their last visit, ready to sing along to a setlist full of anthems like Ball and Chain, Story of My Life and Reach for the Sky.
