Marte Lasarte grew out of the reunion of Pello Armendáriz and Borja Antón, after more than fifteen years together in Skakeitan. Joined by Lore Nekane Billelabeitia (Belako) and Alex Alonso, the San Sebastián quartet have developed a Basque-language sound where rock meets synthesisers, electronic rhythms and strong pop melodies. Their debut album, Ez Da Besterik (2024), laid the foundations for a style that combines intensity with a danceable pulse and truly comes alive on stage. A new force from the Basque scene, bringing guitars, electronics and songs built for the live setting to Azkena Rock Festival.
