Parker Barrow play Southern rock with road dust under their boots, blues in their veins and plenty of soul. At the heart of the band are Megan Kane and Dylan Turner, a married couple on and off stage whose connection runs through a group built on miles travelled and shows played. From Nashville, they look to The Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band and Tedeschi Trucks Band without simply retracing their steps: Kane’s commanding voice, deep groove and guitars that know exactly when to roar sit at the core of their sound. Jukebox Gypsies (2023) set them in motion, while Hold the Mash finds the band sharper than ever. At Azkena Rock Festival, they will be exactly where this music makes the most sense: on stage, with the amps turned up.
