Two sisters, a guitar, a bass and a drum machine. With little more than that, Brèagha and Onnagh Cuinn have spent over a decade turning Bratakus into a blast of DIY punk born in Tomintoul, a small village in the Scottish Highlands. Hardcore, riot grrrl and punk rock collide in fast, sharp-edged songs fuelled by irony, anger and social commentary. After making their mark with Gigantopithecus and Target Grrrl, they released Hagridden in 2026, another fierce statement that shows their ethos remains firmly intact. Earlier this year they brought that attitude to Santa Cruz de Campezo as part of Araba ARF Tour; now the journey continues to Mendizabala.
