Two generations separated by almost four decades collide in Reverend Beat-Man & Milan Slick, a partnership born in 2020 when they created a live soundtrack for the vampire film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. On one side stands Reverend Beat-Man, preacher of blues trash and uncrowned king of primitive rock’n’roll; on the other, Milan Slick, a young Bern-based songwriter and filmmaker who brings darkness, synths and a sensibility influenced by the likes of Nick Cave and David Bowie. In 2025, those two worlds fully collided on Death Crossed the Street, their first album together, recorded in Bern and conceived as the perfect soundtrack to a macabre dance party heading towards the end of the world.
