Since bursting out of Hermosa Beach (California) in 1979, Circle Jerks have stormed the punk-hardcore scene with a whirlwind of speed, attitude and razor-sharp lyrics. Fronted by Keith Morris (original vocalist of Black Flag) and driven by Greg Hetson on guitar, the band distilled ferocity and melody into songs barely a minute long, starting with their classic debut Group Sex (1980). Over more than four decades, they’ve influenced hundreds of bands with their raw blend of pure punk, biting social satire and uncompromising energy. In 2025, they retain the same rage and power that gave birth to them, and arrive at Azkena Rock Festival ready to prove that true hardcore never gives in.
