One of the most distinctive voices in today’s blues and soul scene, Robert Finley grew up among cotton fields and gospel choirs in church. After decades as a street performer and barroom singer, he released his debut album Age Don’t Mean a Thing in 2016 at the age of 62, proving that passion and talent have no age. Partnering with producer Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), last year he released his latest record Hallelujah! Don’t Let The Devil Fool Ya, and has already shown in Zaragoza, Santiago and Madrid that he’s a living legend on stage: sweat, southern groove and a presence that turns every show into a ritual of soul and truth.

Les Robots are an enigmatic Dutch instrumental surf-rock band, shrouded in mystery in both appearance and sound. American heavy metal icons Corrosion of Conformity arrive at the festival as a prelude to their upcoming double album of covers, Riffissippi Studio Jam Sessions, which has already kicked off with a fiery take on Free’s “Fire and Water” (1970). THE ADICTS Adiós amigos

After nearly five decades in action, The Adicts will stop at Azkena Rock Festival as part of their farewell tour. Formed in Ipswich in the late ’70s, the quartet led by Monkey — with his bowler hat, white make-up and Clockwork Orange-inspired outfits — proved that irreverence can be festive, glam, melodic and delightfully unhinged. This June, we’ll share one final burst of energy, humour and punk communion, and say goodbye with the same joy they brought when they first arrived: no filters, no brakes, and claiming their space as only they know how… Adios Amigos and Viva La Revolution!
